Help Me Summit for Someone! Hello everyone. If you do not know I climbed in 2008 with the Summit for Someone program. As an outdoorsman myself I have a great appreciation for the work of Big City Mountaineers through Summit for Someone. I know, through experience, the awesome joy and satisfaction that the outdoors can bring; and not only that, but the character that is built while in the outdoors is priceless. Most under privilaged youth today have never had the feeling the outdoors brings, today when they are faced with a challenge they take the simple way out or even perhaps avoid the challenge all together. At first, when they are faced with a challenge in the outdoors they may say "I can't" or "I won't". However with the encouragement a teamwork Big City Mountaineers invests in these youth, those answers soon turn to "I can" and "I did".
