Help Me Summit for Someone! As part of Summit for Someone, I will be climbing Mount Rainier in Washington, one of North Americas most sought after peaks to help benefit the at-risk teens BCM serves. With your help and my summit attempt, the BCM program will reach over 300 at-risk teens nationwide. If you've reached this page because I e-mailed you about it or told you about this cause via Facebook, chances are you've had a few opportunities in your life. I'm asking for donations for some kids who haven't had the same chances. You can help change their lives by helping them get out of the city and into the mountains with some positive role models. I benefitted greatly from positive role models in my teenage years. Some of the best times I can remember were camping, hiking and climbing with these role models -- now I'm asking for a little bit of your latte money, or whatever you can spare, so we can help kids have the same opportunity. ![]() | The climb was awesome. The people at Colorado Mountain School were great and our guide Tim Brown was first-rate. It was an intense 3 days. I loved every minute. Thanks for helping make it happen. --Joey Uek, Longs Peak 2009 | ![]() |
